LOS ANGELES – Ashley Hebert is getting a second chance at love after failing to win the heart of Brad Womack on "The Bachelor."
The 26-year-old dental student from Madawaska, Maine will be the new "Bachelorette," ABC has revealed.
The announcement was made on last night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," where the host made Hebert take the Bachelorette oath.
"Do you promise, on national television, to date 25 men simultaneously without complaining?" he asked. "Do you promise to make sure the hot tubs are clean and have enough chlorine and their bacteria levels are low?"
"I'll do my best with that," she promised.
Hebert's appearance came just hours after Womack chose Emily Maynard on the "Bachelor" season finale.
Her "Bachelorette" season premiere is set for May 23 on ABC.
