HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Britney Spears says her haters can pucker up.
The pop star took to her Twitter page on her 29th birthday Thursday to address rumors that she was physically abused by her boyfriend, Jason Trawick.
"Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya'll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana ass!" wrote Spears.
The allegations were brought on by the singer's one-time husband, Jason Alexander, who alleges Spears told him about the abuse in a recorded chat. RadarOnline posted an audio clip of the alleged conversation between Alexander and Spears, who purportedly tells her ex that Trawick "beat on me." The "Circus" singer's camp deny the woman's voice is Spears.
"The statements attributed to Jason Alexander are a complete fabrication as Britney has not had any form of communication with Mr. Alexander in years," her rep said. "The audio recording … purporting to be between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander is so obviously fake as to be laughable. Suffice it to say, that Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney."
Spears also said she was "off on a romantic weekend with Jason for my birthday." The two started dating last year.
