HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Yes, Jennifer Grey is having the time of her life!
The 50-year-old star and pro partner Derek Hough were crowned champions on Tuesday night's season finale of ABC's Dancing With the Stars. The pair outlasted fellow finalists Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin in winning the coveted mirror-ball trophy.
Grey endured health problems throughout the competition, making the season 11 victory all the more sweeter for the former Dirty Dancing star.
"I did not think I was going to be able to dance," Grey said of her victory on Tuesday's Good Morning America. "I'm feeling great. This dance experience was so much more difficult [than Dirty Dancing where] I learned basically one dance over the course of months. It was a completely different level of dancing."
Massey, 19, came in second place, while the 20-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin finished third after a surprising run to the finals.
This is the third win for Hough, who also emerged victorious with Nicole Scherzinger and Brooke Burke.
"It was a rollercoaster this entire season," Hough said on GMA. "There were some times that we didn't think that we would carry on."
