Jewel Pregnant: Singer Expecting First Baby with Husband Ty Murray

After two years of trying, the 36-year-old singer has revealed she's pregnant, a discovery that came about on her first day of work as co-host of Bravo's upcoming reality show Going Platinum.

"I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!" she revealed to People magazine. "It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.' "

This will be the first child for Jewel and husband Ty Murray, who married in 2008.

"I have always been a workaholic, so I had to learn how to slow down and take care of myself in a different way," she said of her struggle to conceive.

Jewel, who is in her second trimester, said the parents-to-be are busy getting their Texas ranch ready for the baby.

"I'm trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy," she told the mag. "I feel really lucky."
