Katy Perry to Guest Star on 'How I Met Your Mother'

Katy Perry, How I Met Your Mother, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katy Perry is headed for the small screen, but she's staying away from Sesame Street!

The 26-year-old pop star will guest star on CBS' How I Met Your Mother, the network confirmed Thursday.

Perry will play Zoey's (Jennifer Morrison) cousin, a beautiful, naive girl who the gang resorts to calling "Honey." The episode, conveniently titled "Oh Honey," will air later this season, CBS said.

"Katy is a tremendous talent and we are delighted to be able to work with her," said Carter Bays, the show's co-creator and executive producer.

Perry famously made headlines in September when she got the boot from Sesame Street after her risqué attire upset the legendary children show's audience.
