Natalie Portman Pregnant, Engaged to Choreographer Benjamin Millepied

The 29-year-old actress is pregnant and engaged to choreographer Benjamin Millepied, her rep tells People.

The details of the pregnancy and engagement remain a mystery, but Portman did express her excitement in a statement Monday.

"I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience," she told Entertainment Weekly.

The couple met on the set of Black Swan. The psychological thriller film set in the world of New York City ballet earned Portman both Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for her role as a featured dancer who finds herself locked in a web of competitive intrigue with a new rival at the company.

This will be Portman's first child.
