HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It's official: Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth are engaged!
On Tuesday, a rep for the actress confirmed the engagement, telling Us Weekly the twosome is "extremely happy."
Witherspoon, 34, and Toth, 40, began dating in January, shortly after the Walk the Line star split with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Prior to that, she was married to actor Ryan Phillippe for seven years. They have two children children, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7.
The Oscar winner opened up about her romance with Toth, an agent at Creative Artists Agency, in the January issue of Glamour.
"Every relationship has its own dynamic. And I don't want to disparage any of the other relationships that I've had that were meaningful and wonderful. But what I'm finding out is that it's very comfortable to be with somebody who understands my career, but doesn't do what I do," she explained. "He's a great guy. He's wonderful."
Witherspoon also revealed that she's open to getting pregnant again.
"Sure, I would love to have more kids," she said. "Kids are the best part of my day. I don't wake up to make movies. I wake up to hang out with my family."
