Remigio 'Remy' Gonzalez, 'Cake Boss' Relative, Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assault

Remy Gonzalez, Cake Boss, arrested, arrest, busted, sexual, assault, case, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The brother-in-law of "Cake Boss" television star Buddy Valastro has pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sexual assault in New Jersey.

Remigio "Remy" Gonzalez of East Hanover was arrested in August 2010 and charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. He entered his plea Friday in state Superior Court in Morristown.

Gonzalez appeared as a cake decorator on the popular TLC network reality show about a family-run bakery in Hoboken.

Gonzalez faces up to 10 years in state prison and will have to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 5.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi said the state will seek to have Gonzalez, who is not a U.S. citizen, deported once he completes his prison sentence. Information on his country of origin was not immediately available.
