Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds Have Dinner, Not Reconciling

Scarlett Johansson, Ryan Reynolds, reunite, reconciling, divorce, divorcing, split, breakup, break, up, separated, marriage, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010NEW YORK — Just days after announcing plans to divorce, Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds got together for dinner in New York City over the weekend.

The pair enjoyed a "friendly meal" Friday night at Blue Ribbon restaurant. "They were smiling and laughing the whole time," a source tells People magazine.

Johannson, 26, and Reynolds, 34, announced their split last Tuesday. Insiders have insisted the breakup wasn't caused by someone cheating during the marriage.

As for their dinner, the insider said the pair remains close but there's no chance they'll be getting back together.

"They just wanted to connect and have a friendly chat," explained the source. "They just wanted to sit down together. The tone was light and fun despite the untruths that the media is working up. 
They aren't reconciling. This was just two people who were married being civil and friendly."
