Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally Are Engaged

Sherri Shepherd, Lamar Sally, engaged, engagement, dating, wedding, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sherri Shepherd is getting married in 2011!

The 43-year-old View co-host got engaged to boyfriend Lamar Sally over the holiday season, her rep tells People.

The television writer popped the question on Dec. 26 after the couple returned from a trip to San Diego. Upon arriving at Sally's Los Angeles home, "Sherri was surprised to find their accommodations had been decorated with lights by one of Sal's best friends, her dog was wearing a Santa beard and hat, and, in the middle of a dish of Sherri's favorite but forbidden M&M's (she is diabetic), was a tiny little box," hep rep said in a statement.

Before he proposed, Sally sought permission from Shepherd's 5-year-old son, Jeffrey.

Shepherd and Sally have been dating for more than a year.

The two are planning an August wedding in Chicago.
