Amanda Bynes returned to Twitter Tuesday for a major hair reveal! The star chopped off her long blonde strands, and she wants her followers to weigh in.

The 29-year-old star, who hasn’t posted on social media since December, Tweeted a selfie featuring her new cut, along with the caption, “Hi Everyone! I got a haircut! What do you think?” The blunt chop falls just above her shoulders, and even though only half of her face is visible, we think we’re looking at the same side-swept bangs that she’s had for a while now.

Her bright platinum hue is also the same, a shade she’s been sporting since August, when she posted a photo on Twitter with designer Michael Costello, and again in December, when she shared a photo with her “bestie.”

The hair switch-up isn’t too surprising. Bynes’ blonde roots were fairly grown out during an outing in Los Angeles earlier this month — meaning a trip to the salon was surely in her future.
