Okay, 35-year-old country crooner Craig Wayne Boyd actually won the hit NBC singing competition, but performer Bruno Mars came close to stealing his spotlight with a live performance of “Uptown Funk.” And it was Mars’s hair in particular that had everyone talking.
NBC
The 29-year-old singer hit the stage in gold perm curlers (to the delight of the Twitterverse), a nod to the retro ’70s vibe of the music video for his hit. In the clip, Mars and his posse get their hair set in a barber shop. (Watch it below.)
And if anyone can make rollers look cool, it’s definitely Mars. Or maybe that deep V-neck, metallic blazer and gold necklace situation also helps him look super-suave. Regardless, he rocks the look better than Bradley Cooper in American Hustle. (Sorry, Brad!)
Watch the full Voice performance below, and tell us: What do you think of Mars’s look? Are you a fan of the curlers? Should they become the new hair trend? Sound off below!
