Former Miss USA Alyssa Campanella married actor Torrance Coombs in an intimate ceremony in Santa Ynez, California on April 2. The couple’s theme for their nuptials at Sunstone Vineyards and winery was “royal, elegant and alfresco,” and they totally achieved that mood.
“After six beautiful years together, this just feels right and how it’s supposed to be,” Campanella, 26, tells PEOPLE. “Torrance has been my husband in my heart for years, and now it is really official.”
The Why We Love
Campanella is a model and fashion blogger who won Miss USA in 2011. Coombs, 32, is an actor best known for his role on CW’s Reign, and is next set to star in the upcoming Shondaland series “Still Star-Crossed,” a Romeo and Juliet-inspired series on ABC.
The couple got engaged in January 2015 after dating for several years. Coombs was by Campanella’s side when she took home the Miss USA title. “He’s proud of me, and I couldn’t ask for anything more,” she said at the time.

Campanella and her bridesmaids wore custom gowns made by L.A.-based designer (and friend of the bride!) Lauren Elaine. The bride’s looks were inspired by two beautiful royal weddings: Grace Kelly’s 1956 Monaco celebration and Princess Kate Middleton’s 2011 ceremony.
Her French lace and silk gown features a 12-ft.-long cathedral train with a square neckline and hand-appliqued lace flowers on the illusion sleeves and back. Another nod to royalty, she wore a bridal crown by Eden Luxe Bridal.
Like Princess Kate, who dressed her maid of honor sister Pippa and four little bridesmaids in ivory, Campanella dressed her bridesmaids in a similar palette to her own. They wore ivory silk and chiffon gowns with chapel trains.
For the reception, Campanella selected a “feminine and bohemian” A-line gown and a long-sleeve cape.
