The beauty industry, and beauty buffs alike, are mourning the loss of world-renowned dermatologist Fredric Brandt.
WWD reports that Brandt was found dead in his home in Coral Gables, Florida on Sunday. He was 65 years old.
Brandt's publicist, Jacquie Trachtenberg, told Page Six that the doctor "was suffering from an illness," though specifics remain unclear. The Huffington Post reached out to Trachtenberg for further comment.
Brandt was one of the most famous dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons to the stars, counting celebrities including Kelly Ripa, Madonna and Stephanie Seymour as clients and friends. In addition, the New Jersey native was at the helm of his eponymous luxury skincare line.
