Ginger Spice kept it nice on her wedding day. Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell married Formula1 racing team boss Christian Horner in England on Friday wearing a very classic (and demure!) wedding dress by London-based couture bridal designer, Phillipa Lepley. And we have all the exclusive details on her bridal look — straight from Lepley herself.

“The dress isn’t wearing Geri, Geri is wearing the dress,” Lepley tells PEOPLE. “It really shows off her figure so well and gives drama at the same time. I’m thrilled with how Geri looks.”
She adds that Halliwell wanted a “simple, clean and couture” bridal look and that the lace quality of the long-sleeve gown and hidden corset make the dress “feminine and very English.”
Halliwell and the designer collaborated on every aspect of the design process, which took several fittings.
“We have been making the dress in our studio for the last few months,” Lepley shares. “Geri adores the dress and was very excited. I wish her every happiness and think she looks absolutely beautiful.”
The star paired her gown with a classic veil and a bouquet of soft-hued blooms. She also shared all of her accessories (which followed strict bridal protocol) on Instagram. See below.
