Halle Berry hardly ever disappoints on the red carpet and Sunday night was no exception when she attended the 2014 Huading Film Awards.

The biggest night for the Chinese film industry was actually held in Hollywood and honored Halle with its Global Icon Award. But instead of rocking a current, or yet-to-release designer gown like most A-listers, the 47-year-old actress opted for a black, floor-sweeping, high slit design from Elie Saab's 2003 Couture collection. And although the dress is a throwback, there is nothing dated about the look.

Plus, there's no beating Halle's signature pixie, au natural makeup and those ruby red bar earrings. Love!
