Well, now we know what we’re going to be binge watching this weekend! According to Kerry Washington, there’s one particular Scandal episode in which Olivia Pope is wearing Washington’s real life wedding ring by mistake — but she’s not spilling which one.

At the Accessories Council’s 20th anniversary ACE Awards on Monday in N.Y.C., Washington told PEOPLE that she never removes her wedding band unless she’s in character as Olivia Pope … with one notable exception. “Sometimes I don’t take it off! But only once.”

While she won’t divulge which episode (or even season!) that slip-up occurred, the she did present a particularly inviting challenge: “I can’t tell you! If you’re a real fan, you might find it. Keep looking, keep looking!”

The actress, 37, wed former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, 33, in July of last year. And her marriage not only changed her life (the couple welcomed daughter Isabelle Amarachi in April) but her approach to jewelry as well.

“I’ve never been a big jewelry and accessories person. I think if anything actually I find that I wear more jewelry more consistently because now I wear my wedding band,” says Washington. “I’ve never really had a piece of jewelry that I wear all the time, and now I do.”

So what does she do with it all those times she does remember to remove it while filming? Something very romantic, she says: “It’s usually pinned somewhere on me.”
