McCarthy found inspiration for her Melissa McCarthy Seven7 spring line (which features cool paint-splattered denim, graphic-print blouses and plenty of floral patterns) from the N.Y.C.’70s hotspot, Studio 54.

The collection of sweaters, skirts, maxi dresses and kimonos ranges from $54-$169 and is available starting February 1 on MelissaMcCarthy.com. But you can also purchase the new looks on HSN when McCarthy hosts a segment on February 23.

If you just marked your calendar for the HSN date, here’s a warning: Her stuff sells fast! When the line first launched on HSN, over 1,400 pairs of jeans were sold in the first two hours, which caused producers to cut the segment short when inventory ran out.

McCarthy first launched the line last fall and started out with the goal to make everyone feel comfortable expressing themselves through her clothes.
“You should be able to wake up and say, ‘I am wearing weird boots and leopard pants and a ripped-up T-shirt and a leather jacket and a big bow in my hair,'” she said, adding that she makes sure to always follow her own fashion advice. “I’m a mom with two kids — and I wear leather pants and cheetah-print and all kinds of crazy stuff.”
