Gabourey Sidibe arrives on the red carpet at 13th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala held at the Beverly Hills Hilton on October 26, 2009 in Beverly Hills, California.

Two-time Academy Award-winning star Hilary Swank won the Hollywood Actress Award at the 13th annual event, which is widely considered as Tinseltown's award-season starting gate. Other notable winners included Christoph Waltz, who won the Hollywood Supporting Actor Award for his role in "Inglorious Basterds," and Gabourey "Gabby" Sidibe, who received the New Hollywood Award.
