BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — The award season kicked off Monday night with the 2009 Hollywood Awards held at the Beverly Hills Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Among the honorees at the 13th Annual Gala Ceremony were Robert De Niro and Hilary Swank, who won Best Actor and Best Actress for Everybody’s Fine and Amelia, respectively.
Other notable winners included Christoph Waltz, who won the Supporting Actor Award for his role in Inglorious Basterds, and Gabourey “Gabby” Sidibe, who received the New Hollywood Award.
Among the stars attending last night’s event were AnnaLynne McCord, Bradley Cooper, Charlize Theron, Diablo Cody, Diane Kruger, Kate Beckinsale and Zachary Quinto.
