HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The Jonas Brothers have found the perfect way to take a break from their upcoming world tour this summer.
The Grammy-nominated stars will host the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, which will take place on Aug. 10.
The sibling trio will also perform at the ceremony, which celebrates the year's hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion.
In March, Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas unveiled plans for the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009, which will begin in South America in mid-May before heading to the United Kingdom and Europe. The band will then kick off a 44-date North American leg on June 20 at the brand new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
The rockers also have a new Disney TV show, "J.O.N.A.S.," that premieres on May 2.
Earlier this week, the Jonas Brothers revealed the cover art for their upcoming new album, "Lines, Vines And Trying Times," on Twitter. The band's fourth album drops on June 15 and the cover shoot reportedly took place at Caleb's Diner in Corisica, Texas.
Now in its 11th year, the Teen Choice Awards will air on FOX at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
