HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ali Fedotowsky is still enjoying the bliss of her engagement to Roberto Martinez.
"Every single time I watch the proposal, I cannot help but tear up," the 25-year-old Fedotowsky tells Us Weekly of the couple's special moment, which aired on Monday's season finale of The Bachelorette. "It's just so beautiful. I don't know, it makes me really happy."
Fedotowsky says Martinez has made quite the impression on her family, including her dad who absolutely "loves him." He also hasn't stopped wowing since their romance began on the ABC reality show.
"Roberto has this way of making me feel like I am the only person in the world," she gushes. "Not only the only woman in the world, the only person in the world when we are together. And he's kind, and caring, and so genuine. And just a good, good man. The type of man that, you know, any father would be glad to see their daughter with."
As for the future, the couple will be moving in together in San Diego, where Martinez is moving his insurance business from South Carolina. They haven't set a wedding date yet, but they've hinted that it could take place next spring. Fedotowsky also says the couple "absolutely" wants to start a family, but won't rush into having babies.
So can Fedotowsky and Martinez avoid the pitfalls of other failed Bachelor and Bachelorette couples?
"I think I'm supposed to be with him," she assures. "I'm just... we're going to make it."
