Alyson Hannigan Pregnant with First Baby

Alexis Denisof and Alyson HanniganHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actress Alyson Hannigan is pregnant and due in the spring, the star's rep confirmed to People.

It will be the first child for the "How I Met Your Mother" star and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof.

Hannigan, 34, and Denisof, 42, met on the set of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" during the 1999-2000 season.

The couple later married at the Two Bunch Palms Resort in Desert Hot Springs, Calif. on Oct. 11, 2003.

Hannigan, who also gained notoriety in the "American Pie" films, currently stars as Lily Aldrin on the CBS sitcom.
