LONDON — Amy Winehouse has been released from police custody after being arrested Wednesday on suspicion of drug use, Reuters reports.
The 24-year-old singer was released on bail after being questioned by police for more than nine hours about a video that appears to show Winehouse smoking crack cocaine. The video footage was published in January by The Sun newspaper.
Winehouse has not been charged, but she will need to return for more questioning later this month, Reuters says.
The Grammy-winning singer entered rehab shortly after the video was published by the British publication.
The troubled pop star also spent a night in jail last month after she allegedly slapped a man outside a London bar. She was released after being cautioned for common assault.
