LONDON — Amy Winehouse had plenty of punch in her performance Saturday at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England.
The 24-year-old singer reportedly climbed down from the stage and threw a punch at a fan, The Associated Press reports.
Witnesses say that a fan attempted to grab the British singer, however it is unclear what exactly provoked the altercation.
Winehouse performed for about an hour in front of an estimated crowd of 80,000 festivalgoers.
Last week, Winehouse surprised fans with a two-song performance as part of Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday tribute in London's Hyde Park.
The performances come on the heels of Winehouse's recent hospital stay, after which her father revealed that Winehouse has developed emphysema from smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine.
