HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — With a household that now includes six children, Angelina Jolie says that her acting days may very well end soon.
"I don't plan on acting very long," the 33-year-old actress tells the BBC. "I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day."
"I'm not so worried that I want to try to keep up this pace and try to be a celebrity and try to be a successful actress forever," she continues. "I think it's nice to tell stories and be successful enough to tell the ones I want to tell, and to earn some money at the same time is great. But everything comes in seasons and I hopefully won't be needing to do that later in my life."
Jolie welcomed twins Knox and Vivienne in July with beau Brad Pitt. The superstar couple is also proud parents to three adopted children — Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3, as well as biological daughter, Shiloh, 2. While she still has plenty of films already lined up, the "Changeling" star tells the BBC that she's looking forward to an early retirement.
"I don’t think I'll ever say, 'I'm never ever going to work.' Because maybe there's that interesting project where I feel creative,” she explains. "But now, I haven't worked for a year. I'll work a few months in February and won't work again for another year. So maybe, it'll be once a year and then maybe once every three years.
"I like being home a lot these days."
