HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Angelina Jolie says she was perfectly happy adopting and had no plans to get pregnant again until her beau Brad Pitt convinced her otherwise.
"I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do," the 33-year-old actress reveals in a W magazine interview, which features photos taken by Pitt of her breastfeeding, according to People. "Now I wouldn't trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn't otherwise be here."
Jolie says that the turning point was watching the 44-year-old Pitt with the couple's adopted children, Maddox, Zahara and Pax.
"I knew he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace," Jolie explains. "I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to [getting pregnant]. I suddenly wanted to. It's one of those things you can't explain."
"I wouldn't trade that experience for the world," Jolie continues of her three children with Pitt — 2-year-old Shiloh and 3-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne. "It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn't otherwise be here."
Jolie is said to describe Knox as "very chill" and says he "loves music" like his dad, while Vivienne is a "studier" and "more demanding."
When asked about her relationship with Pitt, the humanitarian admits she's finally in a good place.
"I'm with a man who's evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created," she explains. "He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier."
"I do think that I'm in a good partnership now," she adds. "I think it just needed to be the right man."
