HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — ABC's "The Bachelorette" has been rocked by an alleged cheating scandal.
A pair of women claiming to know Ed Swiderski insist the "Bachelorette" contestant is up to no good. One such allegation is that Swiderski slept with his former girlfriend, Lindsey Johnson, just eight days after he popped the question to Jillian Harris on the "Bachelorette" finale.
On the following day, Swiderski is said to have texted a second female named Bethany Steffen to "bring beer and condoms" over to his place.
"Ed's not worth my time, but if I can help someone avoid heartbreak, I'm gonna do that," Steffen tells Us Weekly.
The magazine claims that Swiderski was secretly dating both Johnson and Steffen before shooting began on the reality series in late March. It also alleges that Swiderski slept with each of them after he famously left the show in the fifth episode, only to return weeks later and beg Harris for a second chance.
"Lindsey and I are both smart girls, and Ed just has this way of making people believe what he wants," Steffen tells Us. "Jillian needs to be careful."
"I feel gross, used and completely violated," added Johnson. "It shocks me that he was able to do something like that to me."
When asked about the cheating allegations, Harris told Extra: "It's not possible... it is absolutely made-up."
Harris also confessed that she's fully aware of both women.
"I know that he's kept in semi-friendly touch with those girls," she said. "I'm aware of that — he doesn't hide anything from me."
As for the couple's future, Harris said she still plans to move to Chicago so she can live with her fiancée. She is also looking forward to their upcoming Vegas trip so they can "party it up and have fun."
"This is a bump in the road and we'll get through it," said Harris. "Ed and I are on top of the world right now."
