NEW YORK — Bianca Golden is speaking out for the first time about her July 29 airport brawl with Nikki Blonsky.
On the Oct. 8 episode of "The Tyra Banks Show," Golden reveals that she was with her family in Turks and Caicos to visit a dying grandfather, according to Us Weekly.
The "America's Next Top Model" star says the tussle began after Blonsky made a rude comment to her aunt.
"My aunt had two babies in her arms, and she told my aunt, 'You can leave. You can go away,' " she reveals. "I was really upset by that because my aunt and I are close."
Golden says that prompted her to step in, which led to the "Hairspray" star telling her: "'You need to mind your business. You don't know what's going on.'
"She went off," Golden recalls. "There was a lot of words exchanged."
From there, things quickly escalated. Golden says her mother, Elaine, attempted to calm everyone down, but that's when Blonsky's father, Carl, entered the fracas.
"Before my mom could walk away from us, her father ... punched my mom," Golden reveals. "He knocked her out. He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back, and when she stumbled back, the whole family got up and attacked my mom."
It didn't just end there, Golden says. The model tells Banks that the 19-year-old actress followed her father's punch by kicking her mother in the crotch as she was sprawled out on the ground.
"That's when my mom fell out completely," Golden remembers.
After airport police stepped in to break up the brawl, Golden's mother was airlifted to a local hospital with internal bleeding, a broken nose and a fractured skull.
Blonsky and her father were both arrested on assault charges, as was Golden.
Blonsky and her father are due back in court on Dec. 1, with Carl Blonsky facing the most serious charge — inflicting bodily harm.
