HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Bill Cosby is letting fans in on a little secret: he's not dead!
"I'm rebuttaling rumors about my demise," the 73-year-old actor and comedian wrote Monday on Twitter after rumors swept the Web that Cosby had died.
"Bill Cosby dead" and "did Bill Cosby die" became two of the top trending topics on Google soon after the rumor began. Cosby later expressed his disappointment over the dead rumors.
"Emotional friends have called about this misinformation. To the people behind the foolishness, I'm not sure you see how upsetting this is," he said.
The legendary star was also rumored to be dead back in February.
"As you well know, a dead person cannot rebuttal," Cosby joked on Twitter at the time. "Therefore, I am rebuttaling to tell you that when I heard the news I immediately began rebuttaling and went into denial."
