HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Britney Spears officially debuted the music video for her hit single "3" on Friday, with fans catching their first glimpse of the glamour production on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
The song first hit the airwaves last month and features suggestive lyrics about having romantic relationships with more than one person at a time. One such provocative line goes "1, 2, 3/ Not only you and me/ Got 180 degrees/ And I'm caught in between."
"3" was produced by the singer's longtime collaborator Max Martin, who also produced her 1998 debut single, "... Baby One More Time."
On Wednesday, Spears began teasing her social followers with screen grabs and clips from the video, which bowed at 10 a.m. ET.
The track will be featured on Spears' forthcoming greatest hits album, The Singles Collection, which drops on Nov. 24. The release is a celebration of her 10 years in the music business and will feature 17 of her biggest hits.
