HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Brody Jenner is stepping into the spotlight on his own.
"The Hills" co-star has landed his own MTV show, a reality series titled "Bromance," which is slated for at least six episodes.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new series will feature a group of "regular guys" who come to Hollywood and compete in a series of challenges, from skydiving to dealing with the paparazzi — in hopes of being chosen by Jenner to become part of his entourage.
Along the way, the contestants will be whittled down via "Hot Tub Elimination Ceremonies," in which the rejected "bros" will be asked to leave the bachelor pad dripping wet in a swimsuit, luggage in hand.
Much like ABC's "The Bachelor" and other dating reality shows, the contestants vying for Jenner's attention will have opportunities for "group dates" and "alone time" in each episode. "
'Bromance' takes a successful TV format and turns it on its head," Liz Gately, MTV's senior VP of series development, told the Reporter. "Brody is the perfect fit for this concept; he is the type of guy everyone wants to hang out with."
