HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Grammy-nominated singer Chris Brown could be headed for the big screen again.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 19-year-old Brown, who made his film debut in the 2007 dance smash "Stomp The Yard," is in the final stages of negotiations to star in the thriller movie "Bone Deep."
The film revolves around a group of thugs who plan a major heist at a money depot, hoping to outlast a pair of police detectives in hot pursuit.
Brown would star as a member of the shady crew.
The film already has an all-star cast lined up, including Matt Dillon, Idris Elba and rap star T.I.
Following his debut in "Stomp," Brown appeared in last November's holiday flick "This Christmas." He is also already signed up for the sports film "Phenom."
Raised in the small town of Tappahannock, Va., Brown's second studio album, "Exclusive," was released worldwide in November 2007.
The "Kiss Kiss" singer was recently named best male artist at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards.
