HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Mr. Big will see another huge payday.
Sarah Jessica Parker has confirmed to E! News that Chris Noth will reprise his role in the “Sex and the City” movie sequel, but how he’ll fit in still remains a mystery.
“I don’t know anything yet,” Parker told E! Monday night at the “Wonderful World” premiere at the ongoing Tribeca Film Festival.
In the franchise’s hit big-screen debut, Parker’s character, Carrie Bradshaw, finally tied the knot with Mr. Big. However, his return has been questioned with ongoing reports of a contract squabble. In addition to Parker, all of the other main characters — Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon — have already signed on board.
Parker also suggested that Gilles Marini could also return as the neighbor and love interest of Cattrall’s Samantha Jones.
“I don’t know anything specific about a story for him, but it’s very possible,” the actress said of the “Dancing With the Stars” hunk returning.
“Sex and the City 2” is due to arrive in theaters on May 28, 2010.
