HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Christian Bale is back in hot water after a profanity-laced tirade on the set of his new film was captured on tape.
The 35-year-old actor dropped the F-bomb more than 30 times during his nearly 4-minute long verbal attack against "Terminator Salvation" director of photography Shane Hurlbut, who reportedly entered Bale's sight-line by accident during filming.
"I want you off the set! You prick!" Bale is heard yelling. "No, don't just be sorry! Think for one f--king second! What the f--k are you doing? Are you professional or not?"

When reached by E! News, Bruce Franklin, an assistant director and associate producer on the "Terminator" film, was quick to come to Bale's defense, calling the movie star a "consummate professional" and saying that the incident is being blown out of proportion.
"If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove...It was the most emotional scene in the movie," explained Franklin. "And for him to get stopped in the middle of it. He is very intensely involved in his character. He didn't walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed."
"He is so dedicated to the craft. I think someone is begging to make some noise about this, but I don't think it's fair," added Franklin. "The art of acting is not paint by numbers, it's an art form."
This isn't the first time that Bale's temper has been called into question. Last July, the "Dark Knight" star was arrested in London for an alleged assault involving his own mother and sister. Chargers were later dropped when England's Crown Prosecution Service determined that there was insufficient evidence to gain a conviction and ordered police not to take any further action against Bale.
