Christina Aguilera Speaks Out on Separation

Christina Aguilera, Jordan Bratman, separation, split, separated, marriage, trouble, son, Max, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Christina Aguilera has confirmed that she and Jordan Bratman have split after five years of marriage.

"Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever," the "Genie in a Bottle" singer said Tuesday in a statement.

Aguilera, 29, and Bratman, 33, married in California's Napa Valley in November 2005.

The Grammy-winner recently discussed how the couple's 2-year-old son had impacted her marriage. 

"Having Max has brought us closer together," Aguilera told the October issue of Cosmopolitan UK. "[Jordan] changed the first nappy while I was in bed recovering from my C-section – and he's been so hands-on ever since. When I see them together it makes my heart sing and melt at the same time."
