HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — After months of dismissing engagement rumors, Christina Milian and The Dream have finally confirmed that they are in the midst of planning their nuptials.
"We don't have plans yet — but it hasn't [already] happened, that I can confirm," Milian told Us Weekly of the couple's wedding plans as she attended Saturday's Venom Energy and Trainwreck party for music executive Billy Clark.
Milian and The Dream, both 27, started dating earlier this year and they have been nearly inseparable ever since. The-Dream, whose real name is Terius Young Nash, popped the question with a six-carat diamond from Ivanka Trump's jewelry line. Last month, the couple held their engagement party at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
As for the pair's wedding day, Milian told Us that her first to the altar will be a low-key affair.
"We just want to have our closest friends and family there; it's not going to be too big," she said.
In addition to planning their trip down the aisle, the couple is also busy preparing for Milian's new album, "Elope" (a signal perhaps ?!) on The-Dream's Radio Killa Records this fall. The "Umbrella" songwriter, who was previously married to singer Nivea, said he and his future bride both look forward to having a family some day, but first things first.
"I think when you're a female in this business, it's kinda hard to do the natural thing that you want to do," he told the mag. "You have to do your work — then whenever she makes that time for herself — she'll make that time [to have a baby]. In the next couple of years, there'll be something around."
