MURRIETA, Calif. — Andy Dick was arrested early Wednesday for investigation of drug use and sexual battery, the Associated Press reports.
The 42-year-old comedian was arrested around 1:15 a.m. in a parking lot near the Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar in Murrieta, Calif, which is located in Riverside County.
Dick, who was heavily intoxicated, grabbed and fondled the breast of a 17-year-old girl before pulling her top down in the parking lot.
"The victim was traumatized by this," Lt. Dennis Vrooman, a spokesman for the Murrieta Police Department, told AP.
Authorities later discovered one gram of marijuana and one Xanax anti-anxiety pill in the star's possession.
Dick was arrested and later released after posting a $5,000 bail, AP says.
The former "NewsRadio" star has had several run-ins with the law in the past. In 2004, he was arrested for indecent exposure at a McDonald's. He was also arrested in 1999 on marijuana and cocaine possession charges after he crashed his car into a telephone pole in Hollywood.
More recently, the South Carolina native was cited for urinating in public in Columbus, Ohio last August.
