HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jodie Sweetin described her 16-month marriage to Cody Herpin as "rocky" in court papers filed last month in Orange County Superior Court, according to People.
In the documents, which were filed on Nov. 19 and obtained by the magazine, the 26-year-old Sweetin paints a grim picture.
"Our house is in foreclosure, our water has been shut off twice. Currently, all of our other utilities are overdue," she states.
Sweetin claims in her filing that her soon-to-be ex was a driver and transportation coordinator who was hardly motivated to work.
"[He] kept finding one excuse after another for his failure to even attempt to find employment," she argues.
Herpin explained to People that his failure to work was actually due to his 7-month-old daughter, Zoie, with the former "Full House" star.
"I was the stay-at-home dad, my job was taking care of Zoie," he told the mag.
Sweetin and the 31-year-old Herpin were married in Las Vegas on July 14, 2007. In November, she asked for a legal separation.
Herpin told People that he's attempted to speak with Sweetin, but "she won't talk to me."
"I still have no idea what this is about," he said. "None of this makes sense."
