HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Just months after his brief marriage to Elisabeth Moss came to an end, Fred Armisen is jumping back into the dating scene with someone he didn't have to look very far for – fellow SNL cast member Abby Elliott.
"They are dating and it all happened after he and Elisabeth split," a source tells People of the new romance. "They've always been close friends on set and … they started hanging out."
Armisen, 43, and Moss, 28, married in October and split in May.
"Both him and Elisabeth have moved on," a source tells the mag. "It was totally amicable and friendly."
As for Armisen's relationship with Elliott, who is 20 years his junior, the insider says, "It's nothing serious. It's still the early stages."
