HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — David Hasselhoff's daughter is heard pleading for help in a 911 call made over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend that led to her father being rushed to the hospital.
"My dad ... he just collapsed," the former Baywatch star's daughter, Hayley, tells the dispatcher in the Nov. 27 call, obtained by TMZ. "He's standing up but he keeps falling back down ... But then he got back up and he's fine. It's kind of scaring me."
The call led to Hasselhoff being hospitalized at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, where he was later released.
The 57-year-old star has publicly struggled with alcoholism for many years, but it remains unclear if his latest hospitalization was triggered by the disease. Sources previously told Radar that he had been drinking in the days leading up to the incident.
Hasselhoff was also hospitalized in September, with conflicting reports on whether that visit was alcohol related. His rep explained that a combination of drugs affected Hasselhoff's equilibrium, while TMZ claimed the hospital visit was the result of a drinking binge.
The America's Got Talent judge made headlines in 2007 when a video surfaced online in which he appeared intoxicated as he attempted to eat a hamburger while on the floor of his home.
