HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Dean McDermott is out of intensive care after injuring himself earlier this week in a motorcycle accident.
The 43-year-old reality star remains hospitalized but has moved to a regular room, where he had some visitors on Friday.
"I said to [Dean], 'Babe do u want anything?' He said 'Oreo McFlurry!' So his spirits are up despite all the pain," his wife, Tori Spelling, wrote on Twitter before taking the couple's two children, Stella, 2, and Liam, 3, to visit him at the hospital.
McDermott crashed on Tuesday while he was out dirt bike riding with two friends.
"I ended [up] smashing my chest into my bars as I went over the front of the bike," he recalled Thursday night on Twitter. "It was a freak accident. We still can't figure out what happened. None the less, I have a collapsed lung and bad bruising on my right side. Oh, and 3 stitches in my right butt cheek where a stone got imbedded. Let's just say, I won't be dirt biking anymore."
This is the second time McDermott has injured himself riding this year. In January, he fractured his shoulder in a motorcycle accident at California's Auto Club Speedway.
