The drama show is set to finish at the end of the ninth series and the actress - who has played Gabrielle Solis since it began - admits everyone on set is constantly "emotional" because they are so upset that the program is coming to an end.

Asked how she will feel at the end of filming, Eva told 'Access Hollywood': "I can't - you're going to make me cry already.

Nicollette Sheridan Leaving ‘Desperate Housewives’

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Nicollette Sheridan's days of living on Wisteria Lane are coming to an end.

The 45-year-old actress is leaving ABC's "Desperate Housewives" after five seasons, a rep for the star confirmed to TV Guide.

"[Nicollette] had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project," a rep for Sheridan said in a statement.

There has been no official word from the network on how Sheridan's character, real estate agent Edie Britt, will depart the smash series, but E! News reports that she will be killed off in an accident involving a car and an electrical wire.

Kathryn Joosten, who stars as Karen McCluskey on the show, told E! that Sheridan broke the news to the cast yesterday afternoon, calling her exit remarks "totally professional."

Sheridan has starred on the series since its debut in 2004, although her screen time has often been less than her fellow co-stars — Eva Longoria Parker, Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman.

Gale Howard Out of Intensive Care Following Motorcycle Accident

Gale HowardHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — "Desperate Housewives" star Gale Harold is making progress in his recovery from a motorcycle crash earlier this month.

"Gale Harold is out of intensive care and improving daily. A full recovery is expected," a rep for the star told Access Hollywood in a statement.

The 39-year-old actor is being treated at the L.A. County USC Medical Center.

'Desperate Housewives' Star Gale Harold Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident

Gale HaroldHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — "Desperate Housewives" star Gale Harold was seriously injured Tuesday in a motorcycle accident, according to TMZ.

The 39-year-old actor is currently in the intensive care unit at the L.A. County USC Medical Center, TMZ reports.

Harold joined the cast of the hit ABC show this season to play the love interest of Susan Mayer, the character portrayed by actress Teri Hatcher.
