HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Score one for Leonardo DiCaprio over Angelina Jolie.
The actor's Inception movie remained the No. 1 movie for the second straight weekend with $43.3 million in sales, according to studio estimates released Sunday.
The Christopher Nolan film held off Jolie's spy-thriller debut Salt, which finished second at $36.5 million.
Despicable Me, the first 3-D animated film from Universal Pictures, kept going strong with sales of $24.1 million to finish third.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice ($9.7 million) and Toy Story 3 ($9 million) finished fourth and fifth, respectively, to round out the top five.
