HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Elisabeth Hasselbeck is denying reports that she's planning to leave her seat on "The View" for a position at Fox News Channel.
"While Elisabeth [Hasselbeck] has a great relationship with Fox News, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that she is leaving 'The View,' " her agent, Babette Perry, said in a statement Thursday, according to People. "Elisabeth is passionate in her beliefs and enjoys being a part of this dynamic group of women and engaging in daily conversations."
"Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie, executive producers of 'The View,' consider Elisabeth to be vital to the program," added Karl Nilsson, the ABC show's executive publicity director.
Hasselbeck, 31, has made several appearances on Fox News in the past, included a guest appearance last weekend on former Republican Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee's new talk show.
As the "View's" resident conservative, Hasselbeck has been a vocal supporter of Republican's John McCain and Sarah Palin, often engaging in heated discussions with her fellow co-hosts.
