Family Members Allegedly Tried to Kill 'Harry Potter' Star Afshan Azad

Afshan Azad, Harry Potter, father, Abdul Azad, Ashraf Azad, brother, death, threats, killed, arrested, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010LONDON — The father and brother of Harry Potter star Afshan Azad have been charged with attempting to kill the actress over her relationship with a Hindu man, CNN reports.

Abdul Azad, 54, and his son Ashraf, 28, are accused of attacking the young star on May 21 because the relationship went against the family's Muslim faith. Both are charged with threatening to kill her. The star's brother has also been charged with assault.

On Wednesday, the father and brother appeared at Manchester Magistrate's Court, where they were later released on conditional bail. They are due back in court on July 12.

Afshan Azad appeared in four Potter movies as Padma Patil, a classmate of the boy wizard and twin sister of Parvati Patil.
