CALABASAS, Calif. — A former "American Idol" hopeful was arrested Thursday morning after being captured peeking into the windows at the home of Britney Spears, The Associated Press reports.
Miranda Tozier-Robbins, 26, was dressed in camouflage and toting a camera at the time of her arrest. She was first detained by security guards at the pop star's Calabasas home before police arrived on the scene, AP said.
Authorities have yet to determine whether the 27-year-old Spears was home at the time of the arrest.
Tozier-Robbins received a citation for trespassing and disorderly conduct before being released.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Tozier-Robbins was a fifth-season "Idol" hopeful. She auditioned with the Spears ballad "Everytime" on the hit Fox reality show.
The incident took place just hours before Spears took the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as part of her ongoing "Circus" concert tour.
