HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gavin Rossdale is reuniting with Bush for a brand new album, the rocker announced on Los Angeles radio station KROQ.
Everything Always Now, the band's first new material in nine years, will drop in October. The album is being produced by Bob Rock, who has worked with Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi and Aerosmith, among others. He also helmed Rossdale's 2008 solo album Wanderlust, which spawned the hit song "Love Remains the Same."
Rossdale previewed the album's first single, "Afterlife," during his visit with KROQ DJ Stryker.
Bush will also perform their first live show in eight years at Epicenter Twenty Ten in Fontana, Calif. later this year. Others slated to perform at the Sept. 25-26 music festival include Eminem, Blink-182, Papa Roach, 30 Seconds to Mars, Rise Against and Kiss.
Bush rose to fame in the mid '90s behind their debut album, Sixteen Stone, which featured the hit singles "Everything Zen," "Comedown" and "Glycerine."
