HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gwyneth Paltrow says she's open to the idea of adding to her family, including the possibility of adopting in the future.
"I may force myself to do it one more time because the result is so worth it," the "Iron Man" star reveals in the July issue of Harper's Bazaar. "My mother loved each [pregnancy] to bits; she felt alive and beautiful. I wanted to throw up all the time."
The Oscar winner says she and her husband, Chris Martin, are also open to adoption, just in case she wants to forego her battles with morning sickness.
"I do feel we're so fortunate, and we kind of owe it to humanity," she says. "We have a lot of love to give and a lot of resources."
Paltrow, 35, and Martin, 31, were married in 2003 and have two children in the home already, 4-year-old Apple and 2-year-old Moses.
As for how she keeps her relationship with the Coldplay frontman sexy, Paltrow says, "I think you have to make an effort to compartmentalize a little bit. When your children are asleep, you have to open another world ... children and being a parent can really drain that side of you."
"I would like to say 'Go away for the weekend.' But, of course, I've done that like one time on my birthday," she adds. "But it's important to carve out some time; otherwise, you don't have an inner life. You just give all day, and then you pass out at night."
