HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — HBO sees plenty of talent in Kanye West.
The 31-year-old Grammy winner is reportedly a hot commodity at the network, which has its eyes set on a West-based series.
According to Entertainment Weekly, HBO wants to develop a show that would follow the hip-hop singer's hectic lifestyle and showcase his relationships with family and friends.
The network is so high on the idea that they would team West with Larry Charles, the one-time "Seinfeld" writer and current executive producer of HBO's hit comedy series "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
A show insider tells EW the network is currently on the prowl for a writer.
"We need to figure out how to capture Kanye in the right way," the insider says. "Anything that allows him to gas on about his many talents should do the trick."
